## Does Wayfold use cookies?

No. The analytics tracker sets no cookies and creates no persistent visitor profile. An explicit opt-out preference can be stored locally; it is not an analytics identifier. Optional advertising integrations are a separate permission-controlled feature.

## Can I remove my consent banner?

Not automatically. Wayfold does not display its own consent banner. Whether your whole website needs a banner depends on its other tools, configuration and applicable requirements. A Wayfold installation is not a blanket compliance guarantee.

## Can I migrate from Google Analytics?

Yes. You can run Wayfold alongside your current analytics during evaluation and import supported daily GA4 aggregates through a Google connection or CSV. Imported history remains labelled and separate from native Wayfold data. Raw user profiles and individual historical sessions are not imported.

## Does Wayfold record the screen?

No. Journeys show anonymous event sequences. Heatmaps are aggregated click and scroll distributions, not screen recordings or stored visitor screenshots.

## Where is the data hosted?

The application is hosted at Hetzner in Germany. The production database is hosted in Zurich, Switzerland. The operator is minddraft AG. Consult the service-provider and data-processing pages for the current contractual details.

## Does AI traffic prove that an assistant recommends us?

No. An AI referral or crawler request is a traffic signal, not proof of a recommendation, citation or ranking. Wayfold does not guarantee placement in search engines or generated answers.
