1. Register the website
Create an account and add your website with its correct domain. Copy the installation snippet from the website settings. The site ID in the example is a placeholder: use your own snippet.
2. Include the script once
Place the script in the shared HTML template of your website or web app so it loads on each page. The dependency-free script uses defer. Single-page navigation is supported; do not add a second tracker on every route change.

Visit a public page and check the connection status in Wayfold. Choose whether to collect custom events, forms, scroll depth or aggregate heatmaps. Exclude private paths and configure path masking before collecting sensitive routes. Never include names, email addresses or account identifiers in paths, campaign values or event data.
4. Explain privacy choices
Add the privacy-control link supplied in the website settings to your privacy notice or footer. Visitors can stop or resume analytics; Global Privacy Control is respected. If you enable the external CMP gate, collection waits for that gate. Other tools on your website may have separate consent requirements.
